![]() ![]() There are some extra I/O available on the board. The FET is rated at 30amps, but with cooling of course! I haven’t built an MPCNC yet (soon!) but I think the Gen L V1 should work just fine. I simply positioned a small fan directly over the FET and it never exceeds 120F even though it supplies 19 amps when the bed is on. Also, the heat bed FET is hooked directly to my heat bed without an external FET. They easily deliver 2 amps to the z stepper and the chip runs only slightly warm. For the z-axis I used two steppers with an adapter board I got from Zyltech that let’s you plug 2 steppers in parallel. #MKS GEN 1.4 DUAL AXIS INSTALL#I did not need to install any drivers, Win10 recognized it as a serial port, which runs at 250K baud. I programmed it via Arduino on my PC (Win10). Boot logo and all buttons and other interface can be designed.I built a 3d printer using the MKS Gen L V1 board. Support continued printing when power off, power off save.Ĩ. The master program no need to modification, plug and play, support Marlin, Repetier, Smoothieware firmware.Ħ. ![]() ![]() Can be used in MKS Base, MKS Gen, MKS Mini and a series of motherboards.ĥ. Provide continuous software upgrades, upgrade method is simple.Ĥ. Reserved Wifi interface, adds the Wifi interface can support Wifi (package does not includes the wifi module).ģ. 3.2 inch full color touch screen, support U disk and SD card.Ģ. MKS TFT32 does not support external power supply, can not be used in Ramps1.4.ġ. #MKS GEN 1.4 DUAL AXIS DRIVERS#Plug the stepper drivers according to the different color terminals which decreases the probability of reverse and prevents the controller board damage.Ĭan be used in MKS Base, MKS Gen, MKS Mini and a series of motherboards. X axis, Y axis and Z axis with different color terminal controls the stepper motors and endstops, which is convenient to wire.ġ2. Available to input 24V, the heated bed current can be reduced to 1/4 at the same system power which effectively resolves the problem that the MOSFET of heated bed heats.ġ1. Run Marlin firmware, the configuration is completely same as Ramps 1.4, and available to directly replace the Ramps 1.4.ĩ. Use CH340 serial port chip, more easily install the drive than 16U2.Ĩ. Stable and reliable filter circuit greatly reduces interference and avoids crashes as possible in the process of printing.ħ. Use specific power chip, support 12V-24V power input, and resolve the problems of chip heating and power shortage.Ħ. Use high-quality MOSFET, better cooling and more stable.ĥ. #MKS GEN 1.4 DUAL AXIS DRIVER#Reserve external driver signal, available to connect external high-current driver to drive the 57 and 86 stepper motors.Ĥ. Support a variety of stepper drivers such as A4988, DRV8825, TMC2100 and LV8729, available to change the stepper drivers and motors as users like.ģ. 2560 and Ramps 1.4 are integrated in the board, which avoids the complicated connectors.Ģ. Aiming at the problems exist on the open sourced controller board such as Ramps 1.4, the developers in Makerbase specially optimize and develop a new product, MKS-Gen L, which provides more flexible choices for users.ġ. ![]()
